I was with my sister in a bookstore the other day.  We were skimming the books. I was rather focased on finding some John Green and she was focased on wandering. I bent to look at the books on a lower shelf just as she picked up a book above me. "This cover's in black and white," she said conversationally. I waved my arm and said, "There is no such thing as black and white. There is only gray." She looked back at me with an incredulous look. "Thats not true." I gazed my eyes at her, then returned to the books. "Is it?"

I dont understand the meaning of these journals anymore.. Why am I writing about myself? Who reads this? Why do I constantly feel the need to write a new one when I cant possibly think of anything to write about when I dont even feel like writing? What are the point of these journals? Is it so the people who happen across our page can look at our artwork and identify that these people -these artists- are actrually real and have true thoughts, speak words, have insecurities, and love? Do the people online need that sense of security or need some tangible words to latch themselves to? And once you think about it, don't we all? We're all was
